Probably the final London instalment from Laura:
Hello again!
I was sitting at work today, talking about Indian saris, and my boss Phil mentioned a sari he'd seen that was the colour electric blue. Of course, being an Australian child of the 80s, I started singing Electric Blues. Suddenly my colleagues were strangers; they did not know the words. They did not know the song. And they certainly didn't have a clue who Icehouse was. A thought came into my head: it's time to go home. So this afternoon, Simon and I paid for our flights back to Australia.

Another installment from Laura
§
Hello everyone! We hope you're all well. Many thanks for keeping us up to date on your comings and goings. Happy birthday to all the many April babes.
Well, mum and dad left two Mondays ago and I’ve been missing them ever since! Before they came over I had been missing Jiselle and the bub the most because I had mum and dad’s trip to look forward to. Incremental Improvements

Over the past couple of days I've been making incremental improvements to sw'as. If you're really observant you might notice the "Most Played" and "4000 Fresh Words" sections in the sidebar. The most played images are my most played albums (as recorded by Audioscrobbler) and the 4000 fresh words are the latest images I've uploaded to Flickr.
1000 Words
After a bunch of attempts to write my own gallery plugin and then (once I discovered the Flickr API) a Flickr plugin, I finally found one I like. The F-Gallery plugin1 is now managing the 1000 Words section and sourcing all ... more
Scooter Limbo
§
There has been a post brewing for a while about our activities on Australia Day, namely the Second Annual Scooter Limbo Championships1. I realise I'm almost a month late, but the post still isn't done, so I've prepared this quick teaser.
That's not to forget the pie eating contest, barbecue and the slip'n'slide. [↩]
