Celebrating Awesomeness

Flicking through my feeds this morning, I discovered (via skipp.net) that today is International Day of Awesomeness. Looking through Scott's list of things that are awesome, I realised I too have a bunch of things and people in my life that I think are awesome and/or regularly perform feats of awesomeness. While this realisation seems pretty obvious in retrospect, it's one of those things that just needs pointing out before you take the time to think about it. Greetings everyone! Happy holidays to all my teacher friends (remember I’m not one of you anymore, so you'd better enjoy.) How are the rest of you? I know the weather has been quite mild, except for Toowoomba of course. We have obviously had some excitement in our lives this past week, although it’s certainly resulted in a desperate bout of homesickness. It seems everyone but us has met my lovely new nephew Charlie. Geni rocks my non-family-tree making socks off

I've never really got into exploring my family tree, although I don't have any great aversion to doing so either. I've just never really been bothered, it never managed to get me excited.
