No, we have NO connection!

I was on the bus yesterday when we stopped (at a bus stop - don't go thinking this bus just stopped for no reason). This bus stop was in the very trendy Stones Corner. Anyway this person decided to get on the bus (as people do at bus stops) and got on but just faced the door and kept talking to the person outside. This went on for maybe 7-10 seconds before the bus driver had had enough and said something nearly inaudible (to the rest of us) about "ticket" and "are you getting on or not."

Anyway, by the time she eventually sat down it was fairly clear that she was somewhat stoned. About 1 minute into the journey it really looked as though she was about to VOMIT ALL OVER THE BUS (luckily I was well out of projectile range). Now this was all fun and interesting, watching this woman trying to hold it together, but there was something more interesting.

There were a few others on the bus, but one woman in particular caught my attention. Soon after this stoned hippy sat down this other woman would occasionally look around and give me a look that said: "Isn't this lady a freak? We now have a connection because we have shared this experience of watching this freak catch a bus."

Hmmm, I really wanted to tell her that we had no connection - lets hope she figured that out.
