Lop sided and sparse, but really, really good!

All week we've been attempting to put up our Christmas tree, but it just wasn't happening. We didn't even get it out of the cupboard. Finally, tonight it's up, though the whole process wasn't without its problems. I think you'll agree that for a tree with over half its branches missing it's looking pretty good.

Laura, of course was very excited to be putting it up. Her mood then swung to annoyance because it wasn't all there. Then onto hope that we could make it look good anyway. Then despair set in when she thought it couldn't be done. I had to coax her through it, but finally she admitted it looks good. "Good!", I said, "That's an understatement!"
