Aidan: Model

with one comment

A short while ago, Aidan and I were having coffee or going to the gym, as we regularly do, when he casually mentions that “yesterday I spent my lunch hour at a photo shoot.” Having never previously known Aidan to have a photo shoot, I figured he meant he went out to a site somewhere and took some photos of a building (as young architects do on a fairly regular basis). As the conversation progressed it became apparent that, in fact, he had been called up by a photographer who asked him if he would like to be a model in her photo shoot. He agreed and Aidan: Model was born.

The photos from said photo shoot were to appear, a short time later, on the side of a building. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts I was unable to get any evidence that they did because he wouldn’t tell me (or didn’t know) where this building was. (Obviously, due to his new status as Model, I was beginning to think it was the latter.) But after that, I found gathering evidence that Aidan was indeed becoming a Model through and through turned into somewhat of a trivial exercise. One could say it was as easy as finding patently unwearable clothes on a catwalk.

I present exhibit one; a series of photos clearly demonstrating his willingness to pose.

Exhibit two cemented in my mind that Aidan has indeed become a Model. The following conversation took place after soccer while discussing the various injuries we have suffered.

Aidan: You know, those soft, puffy growths with fluid; they form on your feet. Me: Um…you mean blisters? Aidan: YES! I knew there was a name for them.
